How Does the dMEV Fan Work
The SWIP dMEV C is a complete, ready-to-install ventilation kit designed to keep homes fresh, comfortable, and free from condensation and mould.
It continuously extracts moist, stale air from wet rooms, replacing it with fresh air from outside. Unlike manual intermittent extract ventilation (IEV) systems that rely on light switches or pull cords, the SWIP dMEV C operates quietly and automatically, helping to maintain a healthier indoor environment.
By running continuously, it removes the need for additional trickle vents in wet rooms such as kitchens and bathrooms, while still meeting ventilation standards. Note: Background ventilation is still required in habitable rooms.
