We are pleased to announce that SWIP & Qualitymark Protection are implementing a new warranty submission process for Qualitymark Protection insurance-backed guarantees (IBG’s) lodged against SWIP Insulation Systems.
This enhancement applies to the following insulation types, where every installation must acquire a SWIP 25-year Product warranty prior to applying for a Qualitymark Protection IBG.
• Internal Wall Insulation (IWI)
• Room in Roof Insulation (RIRI)
• Under Floor Insulation (UFI)
Both companies are taking a collaborative approach to elevate installation quality standards and promote industry compliance. As a testament to the quality and durability of SWIP insulation products, we proudly offer a 25-year guarantee across all our systems.
Effective from the date of 01.10.2023, it will be mandatory to obtain and submit a SWIP 25-year warranty (URN) when applying for Qualitymark Protection insurance-backed guarantees related to SWIP measures.
The application process for the SWIP warranty is quick and simple and can be accessed via the following link: click here. Rest assured that we process and issue most warranties within 24-48 hours.
As part of the application process, we require specific photographs for technical surveillance purposes. This is essential for upholding our commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and our responsibilities as market-leading system designer.
Upon issue, the SWIP warranty will include a unique reference number (URN) which must be provided as part of the application for the Qualitymark Protection 25-year insurance-backed guarantee.
This collaborative approach is designed to provide additional assurance and confidence to all industry stakeholders.
The SWIP Technical Support Service (TSS) is at your disposal, ready to support our network of installers and collaborative partners with general industry guidance on a variety of subjects, provide pre-install survey reviews and offer recommendations for the installation of our insulation systems.
